Your program name and address are usually located on the table of contents and is the first thing your reader will see. It is also the last thing anyone will see before the table of contents. For this reason, it is important to place this part of the research paper at the top of the title page, above the area where the table of contents begins. This way, you will be able to direct the reader to the section of your paper most relevant to the topic. The title page and the table of contents should match in the exact order as well. After you have created the title page, you need to write the introduction to your paper. This is the section that sets the tone of your paper and usually contains all of the meat of the content. The introduction should be written in a casual, conversational tone. Use short paragraphs to give your topic some space to breathe and to develop its shape and flow.
